Holy Spirit University (HSU) is comprised of on location and online classes that help us develop an everyday lifestyle of living with Christ.
Open to individuals 18 and older, classes meet weekly for 10 – 12 weeks.
All times are posted in EST Eastern Standard Time (USA).
Summer Semester Classes begin the week of June 14th and will end the week of August 23rd, 2026.

“Learn Korean with 원리강론”

원리강론 is the fundamental text of True Father’s teachings and is one of the 8 Great Textbooks. In this class, you will learn vocabulary, mechanics, and grammar used in 원리강론, which will provide a foundation for further study of True Father’s words.
This is a beginner-level course, and you need no prior exposure or experience in studying Korean to attend.
“What is a Proverbs 31 Woman?”

Proverbs 31 is one of the main passages in the Bible describing a woman of many great attributes. She is an excellent wife, hard-working, skillful with her hands, strong, dignified, charitable, wise, kind, and fearful of the Lord. In this class we will be learning and refining our handiwork and artistry, as well as discussing and reflecting on what it means to be a Proverbs 31 woman.
There will be 3 subjects: sewing, crocheting/knitting, and drawing/painting. The basics within each subject will be covered but there will be plenty of open studio time to work on individual projects! This class is open to women above 16 years old.

“The Dynamics of the Blessing”

“The Doctrine of the Lesser Magistrates”

In this class, we will study the obligation of elected officials to interpose themselves to protect the people they represent from other elected or appointed officials above them, i.e. greater magistrates. Historical support goes back to John Knox in his Appellation involving Daniel and King Nebuchadnezzar; Prince Frederick protecting Martin Luther from Emperor Charles V; Roman Governor Publius Petronis standing up to Caligula; the formation of the Declaration of Independence; as well as the Magna Carta.

“Bible-centered Health and Wellness for folks over 50”

The course book, The Biblio Diet by Jordan Rubin and Dr. Josh Axe, argues that the Bible contains a clear, timeless “blueprint” for health, longevity, and vibrant living that has been largely forgotten in modern times. This HSU class will focus on bringing the mind and body into alignment through natural means by studying the Bible and other health material.
Key themes to be discussed:
* God designed humans to live long, healthy, and purposeful lives
* Modern chronic diseases (cancer, diabetes, heart disease, depression, etc.) are largely the result of departing from God’s original design for food, movement, and lifestyle.
* Health is fundamentally spiritual stewardship — caring for your body as God’s temple (1 Corinthians 6:19-20)
In addition to reading and reviewing the book we will share best practices with each other from our life experience.
